Data Collection and Analysis System (DCAS)

Data Collection

• Uses a packet sniffer for network recording
• Capture data using any network listening device – including wireless network adapters
• Store data for later playback and extraction
• Plot and analyze data in real time
• Capture and decode network traffic for client/server debugging and verification

Fully Customizable Message Structures

• Customize and extend the built-in message set
• Add new messages or edit existing messages with the built-in editor
• Define enumerated types complete with real-time decoding and bitwise comparison algorithms

Data Playback and Extraction

• Play recorded data back for further analysis
• Export selected data to other applications

Real-Time Plotting and Analysis

• Plot multiple measurements in up to four simultaneous plots
• Configure plots independently
• Plot real-time in strip-chart or fixed axis mode
• Overlay events such as “fire button pressed” or “missile away” from fire control shelter and launcher data
• Calculate arbitrary functions based on fire control shelter states using the built-in function parser
